Browning "MIDAS GRADE" Trap (Rare 32" Barrels)

All original, 1967 Midas Browning Broadway. Rare 32" barrels ( most were 30") in original Browning 'Hartman' case. Shot VERY little. Gold plated firing pins and cocking rods. 98% condition. (Slight mark in finish ahead of comb, you have to look for it) Pull triggers--Full and Modified original chokes.
This gun is unmolested !!--Original Browning pad.

Sounds great and rare? Never even heard of this model, would love to see pictures??? I do have a question why would they gold plate fire pins? and cocking rods? just wondering?

 

This is a "BELGIUM" Browning---NOT a Japanese Browning. Had it 20 years, shot very little. used my Perazzi and K-80.

First the obvious - has this gun been checked for salt damage ?
Can you provide the dimensions of the stock - especially the DAC and LOP ?

Rob - by 1968 Diana Trap Broadway has a short tang as well. Seems other than trap models had longer tangs.

 

I owned a Pigeon Trap with a long tang, standard rib, and was a beauty. Wish I still had that gun.

A couple years ago, Karl McKnight ( Well known Utah Gunsmith ) went thru this gun. All was good. He put in new springs, only because he was already there. It hasn't been used since.-----Thanks to all !!!
