I was at Fin Feather and Fur last nite and was able to buy #8 of Green Dot. They had a couple more kegs and other powders. I had been looking for powder for about 5 months, since I started back shooting. I had bunch of other powder that I had from before. which I'm glad I didn't sell. I was like a kid in a candy store when I seen the powder. I started to buy all the #8 kegs but decided to leave some for other shooters. I believe that's what created the shortage, the hoarders went crazy. :):D:D:D

I have had 1 Promo. 2 Green Dot and 1 Clay Dot in stock for over 2&1/2 weeks. I was getting 15 to 20 calls a week looking for shotgun powder. Now I think everyone has given up looking that's why I still have this much left.

Local shop had PB a week ago but the problem was it was $219 plus tax for 8lbs.

I refuse to pay those inflated prices, would have to keep shooting new ones like I did all winter. The powder I got was a little over priced but I still thought the price was fair.:rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes::rolleyes:

I thought what gets delivered in Ohio stays in Ohio. :) I will be loading up at the Buckeye Classic. It is always cheaper there.

Loading up on powder subjects the driver to severe penalties. Get caught without a placard and a certified hazmat driver and you'll wish you didn't. It can get very costly!

Am I correct in assuming that there are storage requirements in your home after a certain amount of powder accumulation. Seems to me I've seen some regulations on that.

A few years back the local fire dept sent survey letters to all the residents asking about hazardous materials in the house and having gun powder was on the list.
