This factory stock was on a DB81 Combo. The owner had a custom stock made so this one is for sale. These are high comb stocks to go along with the higher ribs on the DB models.

I don't know if the DB81 stocks had less, more, or the same number of choices that the older MX 8 guns had, and I can't use my MX8 to measure the drops. When I put this one on my MX8 with a step rib I was looking WAY over the rib. The stock DOES fit an MX8 receiver. The stock does NOT have a palm swell and looks pretty neutral in cast. The previous owner is right handed so I know it wasn't made as a left handed stock.

The LOP is 14-1/8" with the 5/8" Kick-Eez pad. Thru hole in the pad for the stock wrench. Bolt included

You can see one ding in the stock where someone decided to tap their rib against it and a few other rubs and dings. The picture from behind the top tang shows a cracking of the finish, If you look into the inletted area you cannot see a crack or split.

You of course have a 3 day inspection period to see if the height is right for you. If it does then you might have to have it tweaked by your gunsmith to perfectly fit your MX8 receive.

$395.00... plus shipping to your zip. SOLD

I wanted to thank Flyersarebest for a smooth transaction on the DB81 stock.

I have an RS combo model that fits/shoots right for me only after 9 comb spacers. I purchased the gun used from a local member and feel fortunate to own it but...I prefer the feel of wood (as opposed to a leather covered comb) and was also not fond of the appearance with those spacers.

The unaltered DB stock is exactly the same drop at comb (1 5/8") as the factory RS stock with the spacers. Well worth the time spent looking on this forum, grateful for the chance to do so.

    Joe

Thank You for the kind words. It looks like the forearm matches quite nicely. Break a bunch!
