How would you react?

The family and I saw this happen a while back and it comes up while BSng around the campfire now and then. Thought I'd throw it out here for comment.

A person was shooting warm-up practice before a Big 50 event. Started on Station 1, 16 yd line. Another shooter was coming off the trap to the practice shooters left and stopped in the grass between traps at about 25 yd line distance. The shooter in the grass area loaded his gun and proceeds to shoot at the target chips of the guy on the practice trap. The guy on the practice trap had blinders on, didn't know the other shooter was back behind him and didn't catch on until the third target (he missed it and the other guy shot at it and broke it). The guy on practice trap turned around and yelled WTF are you doing, don't do that. The errant shooter laughed it off and chuckled all the way back to the club house. What would you have done in this situation? What should have been done?

 

I would have hiked my butt right behind him into the club house and asked for anyone who saw this. Then I would have told the Club house manager or whomever in charge of the situation and let them handle it from there.

Personally I would want him barred from that club forever.

 

That would be against any club I have ever shot at rules, I would of confronted and reported him ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

 

I would have politely whipped his ass then I would have chuckled on my way to the clubhouse!

 

Found out who it was, and gone to club directors and had him thrown out of the club for blatant safety violation.

He would be band from our club --his name sent to every club in the area -- then his name posted on every shooting web site --Our sport is having their own problems without putting up with shit like that!!

I know what you were talking about, I miss them also ... Steak or Cat fish with the trimmings then the games ... Can't seem to muster any interest any more ... Those were a good time, 5 - 4 - 5 from the flag pole, winner take all ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
