No act of Congress but a sixth grade education helps. Most of the higher educated folk used the "edit" button. There is a time limit, I think around 10 minutes and after that a mod will delete it for you. You can used the search system to find this or you can just read the rules.

Or ask a sixth grader.

 

Edit button tried with no delete option shown. And obviously, no mod around to complete the task.
The average sixth grader is infinitely more savvy with this sort of stuff than most adults. Just don't ask them to explain the Bill of Rights or ask them about the electoral college. Are you an elementary school teacher ?
