Safest gun on the line?

What is the gun least likely to have a failure or blow up? My guess is Perazzi due to more meat in the chamber.

 

Since most, if not all guns, are proof- tested it's largely the owners responsibility to check his or her's
equip.
If you use reloads check each shell and follow specs.
Inspect your gun frequently.
Except for some of the cheaper imports, (Turkey) I wouldn't be afraid to shoot any of the major brands.

My exact thought!
Had a buddy yesterday that got a bit pumped on the line and put his finger on the trigger during mounting. BIG no NO!! He knows better and bam gun went off no bird,, shot over house. Correctly he took the lost bird and an azz chewing.

No right answer your job to check equipment before each use. I shoot a Perazzi and don't think its any different than my model 12.

Use that thing between your ears(covers most folks)

The safest gun on the line is the one setting in the rack. There isn't a problem with the gun , it's mostly the folks handling them. Look at the trap houses, almost every one has a pattern on the back. Yea, they blame the triggers but the triggers don't work without a person pulling them. I've watched people close some semi autos with the muzzle setting on their toe or the pad next to them on the ground. No matter how many times they are told it is unsafe, they forget themselves a continue to do it. Those folks I avoid shooting next to or even on their squads if I can do it. Play safe!!

 

I do not think there are any dangerous guns. Just dangerous shooters. Have you ever heard of a gun blowing up in the rack? Or firing all by it's self any where? Blame careless operators, either in handling, or reloading or just plain empty headed operators. Roger C.
