Sad to announce that Nick Bare (cl3) has passed away. Nick was always a class act and great ambassador for the sport.

When we started this forum, Nick made sizeable cash donations to keep us going. He never asked for any credit. He just said we are doing a good job.
It seems like a long time ago....has it been 30 days yet?

Nick shot with Earl Scripture's TM1. I think it was held together with electric tape and bondo.

RIP Nick. The forum misses you.

Some men do things because they can while others do things for the recognition..... there's a BIG difference! I didn't know Nick, but he sounds like the kind of man I would have enjoyed knowing. May Nick rest in peace.

I most likely bought the last gun Nick sold. I bought his Ithaca 5E, which was the gun he broke his first 100 straight with. We made the deal over breakfast at his favorite diner just a day or so before he left for Tucson and the Spring Grand.
