Now is the time to start planning your shooting trips. I would like to invite you to Wisconsin for our state shoot. It will be held on July 14 to the 19th held at our Home grounds in the Town of Rome. Also if you RV, try our RV park that is connected with the shooting park. http://www.witrapshooters.com/ a link on the home page will get you to the RV park.
We always have fun at the shoot and each year it seems to get better at our new home grounds. Hope that you will consider us for your 2015 shooting season.
Vendors if you are thinking of coming and need contact information please get ahold of me.

Ken the last time I shot at Wisconsin was in the 70s at the invitation of That guy who shot the Remington 31, He is turning over in his grave with the ATA rule changes that have been made. He was a real Trapshooting Gentleman, and you all know him!!

Yah Vic was a hell of a guy. Very opinionated. Most all miss him. I don't think he would have been in favor of the move.
I do think you would enjoy shooting at the new home grounds. Great background, great camping, and a lot of other things to do in the area. They got some great golf courses if you are in to that.

    Ken,
Going to be doing some traveling this summer, (Motor Home) not sure where I will end up or for sure where we are (planning) on going ... Its one of those retirement trips that starts one day and who knows when it will end, we'll know when we see our house again ... Its been a long time since I shot the Wisconsin State shoot but man the cheese was always good and good people ... I might see you this summer but make no promises ... I plan on making it to Sparta, not to shoot, but more or less just wander around and check it out ... The last time I was there the shooting facility didn't exist ... I plan on going by the Cardinal Center also and have a few other planned stops along the way but again nothing for sure ... Wife wants to head for Florida, I want to head for Alaska, thats a surprise, the dog don't care as long we take him with ... (lol) ... Have to see what happens and take it as it comes, you just never know, you know ..? wpt ... (yac) ...

Ken, It would be nice if you could open the bunker at the end of the day during the WIS state shoot. Maybe you could send a flyer for the bunker for the days it will be open during the summer.or post it on your home site..Not many places to shoot bunker and yours looked great. The new home grounds are great.A plus is nice motels and food close by.

Palos, First question, Are you in the Southwest Suburban Chicago area? Now the answer. During the spring , summer, and fall (during campground opening) the bunker should be open seven days a week during that time. I will be seeing our manager in a couple of weeks at the Madison RV show and will check to see if that is still the plan. I will let you know for sure

Palos, I will contact our webmaster on up dates. Not sure how fast he will get to it as he is in Texas for the winter doing some shooting and family things. I also thank you for coming to the WI shoot. When you get there look me up. I should be in camper spot 111 if not just ask at sign up they usually know where I'm at. I may be handling the cart, UTV, ATV registration again.

Ken, the last time I shot Wisc. was at the Central Zone shoot in 75 or 76 but I have been up there a couple of times to Ben Smith's place. Ben will be down here hunting pheasants next week. I'm not sure if he has been to your new home grounds or not. Brad

Brad I know Ben very well. I stop by his shop often and he also shots at times at Muscoda. Use to shoot more but you know that. Say Hi to him and maybe you two can set up something for this years shoot at Wisconsin.
