Sure is a pretty model 12.

 

Not all Model 12's were stamped Trap Grade even though technically were trap grade guns ... Most of them also had a Monte Carlo stock when they were pigeon grade (Key word : Most) ... Nice gun ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

What is the length of the barrel 28 or 30 ..?

If it was a field gun I don’t think it would have a 30 inch full choke. These guns came out of a custom shop from Winchester. Whatever parts they had Left over, Were added onto the guns. Some had Montecarlo stocks, And some had straight Stocks. I don’t think they ever made a Y model Field gun.Someone correct me if I’m wrong

 

What does the box end say ? Trap or field?
