Just placed a reloading order and they want payment by way of Zelle. Never heard of such a thing, can someone tell me what the deal is with this? Seems like a possible scam.Thanks.
Moe, It's a form of electronic payment. I was going to copy and paste the definition but if you google "What is Zelle" you will get all the info. MAKE SURE THE SELLER IS LEGIT !!!!!!!!!! Most reputable companies offer multiple ways to pay, not just Zelle
Thanks Flyersarebest, I did just that and found that they have a very low trust rating and are probably a scam company. So beware of a company known as Buyfirearmsand ammo.com. They had " in stock" Win. 209 primers for $250.00 a sleeve. Yea, right! Just like the old saying, if it sounds to good to be true ,it probably is!
You’re welcome I love the names they come up with. They should just use something like, Takeachanceandyouarescrewed.com
I would be REALLY leery of any site that 1. Has primers in stock. 2. Any site that only accepts digital payments.
Scam. Only use Zelle or Venmo for people you feel you can trust. I can't think of a legit *business* that will ask for only Zelle or Venmo, but refuse to take credit cards.
When I seen that they would only take Zelle it did throw up a red flag. But unaware of what it was and me being an old fart who just doesn't keep up with technology I thought maybe it was something new. But with Flyersarebest suggestion I researched them, l see now why they would only take Zelle.
Even the reparable ones you should beware of -- Bought 5000 primers on B.P. three days later $500 shoe sale in Florida -- They did send a letter out a week later. You still have to be on top of all your internet sales.
