WTB: Remington 1100 trap barrel.

Remington 1100 trap barrel, mod or full, 28" or 30".

 

I have a 28" full choke step rib. Excellent condition. It is .748X.705 and has a wire shell catcher. Need $175 + shipping.

 

Sorry new to the site. Hope the photos come through. And a p.s. - it is an 11-87 barrel that works with the 1100 just fine.

 

The issue with the 11 87 barrel is the 1100 forearm; you can't use an 1100 forearm with a 11 87 barrel.

I must own the only 1100 forearm that works with an 1187 barrel. I used a factory 1100 forearm and a Remington 1100 synthetic forearm with no problems. They both fit and when I get an opportunity I will post a photo of the barrel and forearm on my gun. The 1100 forearm won't fit if the thin metal coller is left on the barrel. But it is not needed with the 1100 forearm. Hope this clears things up.

 

You are correct, the synthetic forearms will work with a 11 87 barrel but the older wood forearms will not.

 

As I said earlier. I will post a photo of the 1187 barrel on my 1100 with a wooden forearm. Functioned perfectly.
