A friend of mine found three boxes of these shells to go with his Winchester model 36 garden gun. I had to look them up as I had never heard of them. Roughly 110 gauge. These would put some sport back into shooting singles!
20 ga is sport enough for me Don, I think those 9mm were called Rook guns in England. I have one shell someplace like those in my collection but would really love a box if your friend decides to give up singles like I did.
Brad, You can give him a call about the shells, its the fellow that owns Royal. It looks like Winchester only made the model 36 from 1920 to 1927. Just a guess on my part but they probably named it the model 36 because the bore diameter is 0.36”. Neat little bolt action gun. Not very many model 36’s were made but Royal (the guy the dog is named for) had one. 50 shells to a box makes them easy to carry. I’m not sure what size shot they are loaded with but it’s probably very tiny. Might have to stand out in front of trap house and shoot the targets as they come at you.
