Wobble Association?

A previous post on here got me to thinking, why not instead of starting another trapshooting association ( like some have suggested), start something entirely different. Why not registered wobble? 200 targets wouldn't be needed plus a lot of times at least another 100 carry-over for tie breakers, you could probably go with 50 targets saving time and money, clubs would need fewer traps and the shell and target cost would be cut in half. Less tiring for us old farts and for the southern shooters less time in the heat. Do away with Jr. Gold and Sub vet and make Veteran class start at 62 to 72. Fewer trophys could mean better quality trophy's, something worth shooting for. With less having to be spent on shells and targets, maybe the shooter could afford more option's. Bringing more money to the game like we had 50 years ago and the average Joe could afford this sport. Just my thought's, would like to hear yours.

 

Too few clubs have wobble traps for it to be viable.

Too few people have access to clubs with wobble traps to practice.

The money is gone b/c the sponsors are gone, and neither are coming back regardless of format.

 

Installed a new wabble last year. Thinking it would be a great pre sporting clays league warm up. Sporting clays people prefer to see a bird before they shoot,. Never went over. Trap shooters want to shoot trap. Now is nothing but a games novelty.
