Hello ,I,m not a pro on 50s but have never seen a receiver marked skeet on a skeet gun or trap on a trap gun.the only markings I have seen if it was a pigeon grade on the bottom of the receiver.as far as I know a skeet grade or trap grade were defined buy the three diamond forearm and pistol grip cap.

The only marking is on the barrel, SK1 for choke.

nice m50. geesh, wish i could trade something for it. the wife would kill me if i made an offer. m50's are overlooked so many times its sad indeed. great amercian guns made with american steel. only plastic on that gun is the buttplate and front bead!

 

Please remove, one of my grandkids wants me to keep it. thanks for the positive remarks on this gun bobski. These are great guns and I have several more in trap and 20 ga.many shooters no little about these guns,you got to be old like me !!
