Rios were often on sale at great prices. That put downward pressure on the prices of other brands as well. Win-win. Now the Rios have disappeared from the store-shelves they used to occupy. Where are they? Where did they go?
What hurts here is that Dicks used to have Top Guns on sale almost all the time for $5.25, it was almost an everyday price. Sometimes they went cheaper. Now it seems they are pushing their Field & Stream shells and all the other cheap shells are at the $6.99 regular price whenever I look, which isn't very often anymore.
