I read the thread about PAT traps not throwing the correct amount of wide angles. The thread didn't say what other Traps were recommended.

Sure you can set them as wide as you want but they throw disproportionate amount of non wide angles. I think the OP is referring to the post started by longshot that discusses that.

Now you are gonna piss the old farts off that Occupy the 27. Those old guys want to shoot at the 27 with their friends. Wide angles embarrass them. And they don't want to take a reduction. Equal distribution of angles is not one of their goals.

So what you think the trap should do is throw the equal amount of hard rights and lefts? I don't think there is a trap made that does that. Sounds like to me some one got more hard angles than there buddy's did and they have to wine about it.

One of the other trap machines that are available are from MEC OUTDOORS. This is the same company that manufactures
MEC shotshell loaders. They are in Mayville Wisconsin. I think the price of the trap machine is around $7200 bucks. I don’t know of any clubs throwing ATA targets that use them. Some of their sporting clay machines use 12 volts and you need a inverter to use them in trap and skeet houses.

You may want to read why and how that happens. https://www.americantrapshooter.com/threads/i-will-agree-with-neil-winston-on-this-longshot-vs-neil-winston-hunts-pat-traps-speed.613/

The whole point of the sport is equal chance of all angles right?

That is why Internation trap uses three machines per station to make it fair --and to stop their buddies from wining.

Doesn’t bunker have a limited number of target presentations? I heard that experienced shooters can figure out the program and read the target…. Granted they still have to hit it.

no. THE ONLY TIME YOU KNOW WHERE THE TARGET IS GOING IS IF YOU GET A BROKEN TARGET IT WILL BE FROM THE SAME MACHINE.
EVERY SHOOTER GET THE SAME AMOUNT OF ANGLES AND STRAIGHT AWAYS. BUT NOT ON THE SAME STATIONS. ROGER C.
