    A W ll, vintage B-17 crashed & burned in Hartford, Ct--only good thing was., one person slightly injured--keep these old war birds flying

    Best check again- 7 dead as of last report. Prior to the crash only 18 B17 remain in the U.S. I don't think all are flight worthy.
    U S Air Force Museum has 2 that I know of, Memphis Belle & Sho Sho Baby. I used to go to Confederate Air Force shows years ago. Haven't been in years & now they don't call themselves Confederate. PC crowd forced the change.

    That same plane was at our airport CAK a month previous to the accident, giving rides. A rumor said it was fueled with jet fuel, but have heard no more
