UMMM, Which is it ???

    Something has been bothering me for a while now. The minutes of the EC meeting of 6-August-2012 state that the owner of the Sparta property that the ATA purchased was "Pull, LLC.

    424 RESOLVED that the ATA exercise the option it has on the property at 1105 East

    425 Broadway, Sparta, Illinois, pursuant to the terms of the lease agreement dated March 1, 2012,

    426 with PULL, LLC, and the ATA.


    And then I see the deed states the owner was "2012 PULL, LLC"

    Etc., etc.,etc ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~

    Ok, which was it ?

    PULL, LLC "OR" 2012 PULL, LLC" ?

    Could the minutes of the meeting been in error LEAVING OUT 2012, or was the Deed information in error ? Surly the EC would not have "Approved" the minutes with a part of the information in error.

    Just curious as to which one of the LLCs was the one that should have been in the Minutes ?

    Minutes could certainly have been in error. Much more likely than the sale closing docs being in error. On the other hand, there might not be any errors in either document. Possibly 2012 PULL LLC owns PULL LLC?

    I sort of figured it would be the minutes in error.

    I looked for a PULL, LLC, and came up sort of empty for anything that made sense...On the other hand, "2012 PULL, LLC had names I recognized in it.

    If you do a public information look-up at https://www.kansas.gov/bess/flow/main?execution=e2s5 and click on "Business Entity Database", click on "By business entity name", enter "2012 PULL" then click "Search", then click "View Record", you have to check the box to "agree" to the terms then click to agree, then click "View History and Documents" .... you can see someone named "Robert M Taylor" signed the paperwork, and it looks like "Dale Ramsey" is a CPA, when you open and read the public record documents.

    It was "Dissolved", "Upon filing", signed 8/18/2013 and "Filed" 08-26-2013

    It used the Business Entity ID Number: 6613632

    I was taught as a very young child" if you have nothing to hide, hide nothing" and it has served me well though at times gotten my butt in more trouble than it was worth but a lesson was well learned either way ... My Grand Dad always said "Billy, if you believe in something, stand up for what's right even if you stand alone" again has served me well, though probably made a few enemy's along the way which would then be their problem ... Deception is the same as a lie so far as I am concerned and not much to be gained by it ... The Members are catching on slowly but surely and the day will come and when it all comes to a head those responsible will pay and pay dearly in one way or another ... Integrity is not something you can teach someone, you either have it or you don't, and only you know for sure one way or the other ... The ATA is an established "Cash Cow" for many that take advantage of being in a position to take advantage of the situation ... There is a Hell and that is where they will burn for eternity, hope it's worth it ... I have met only a few people I would not pee on if they were on fire in the middle of no place and I was the only source of water, but I know of many ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

    Dave, The Limited Liability Company which leased and then sold the property to the ATA was 2012 Pull, LLC, organized by the Law Office of Walter P. Robertson, of Junction City, KS. The ATA E. C. Minutes of April 8, 2012 and BOD Minutes of August 16, 2012 should be amended for the purpose of accuracy.

    Coincidently, a lawyer by the name of Walter P. Robertson, of Junction City, KS, organized and incorporated the Kansas Trap Shooting Association in 2008, immediately terminating his powers, transferring them to about 20 Directors.

    It's ironic that you would find this mistake in the minutes but not one ATA Officer, Real Property Advisory Committee member or State/Provincial Delegate ever sought to have it corrected. Especially after the many communications between the parties regarding first the lease agreement, and then the purchase of the property from 2012 Pull, LLC.

    FYI - There was a Limited Liability Company registered in Illinois by the name of PULL, LLC. According to that State, this LLC dissolved in 2011. There has been no information uncovered that this corporation (PULL, LLC) ever conducted business with the ATA.

    The President of the ATA was Rob Taylor owner of several gun Clubs in Kansas, I believe he is now a past President since the 2015 Grand, does this not smell fishy? The date that PULL LLC was formed, and the date it was Rescinded is now very questionable, I wonder about the WSRC Land Acquisition/Use by the ATA ?

    Thanks for the kind words History Buff.

    My only concern over these types of things happened after the ATA pulled the rug out from under Delegate Paul Shaw when he was the head of the audit committee.

    That was a signal to me !

    Check the purchase price made by 2012 LLC and then the resale price to the ATA. There must have been many improvements made ????? Roger C.

    The improvements were in the bank accounts of those involved, the Association could of bought said property and eliminated the Middle man who profited in the transaction knowing the ATA would purchase same at an inflated price ... Property values in Sparta, Illinois are and have remained the same for a number of years ... Commercial property as well as residential property is not in big demand , this can be verified on any real estate site you get on (Google ) ... The Officers of the Association appear to be in it for all they can get out of the members and no other reason ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

    It has been rumored that more than one ATA member made money from the ATA's purchase of the Sparta property but have not seen any documentation to prove this allegation.

    Something to also consider is who paid the expense for the new HVAC system and sewer pump? I sent a request to Lynn Gipson asking that he verify if it was the ATA as rumored at that time or the Landlord who agreed in the Lease Agreement to cover those costs.

    The question on the minds of many folks is why would an ATA member from Texas go though all the trouble to make a speculation purchase of a property in Sparta, Illinois, which was on the market had no interested buyers, sell it within 3 months to a Limited Liability Corporation from Junction City, Kansas of which he somehow obtained membership on the Board, and would be the authorizing person for the LLC when it sold the property on October 8th, 2012 to the ATA?

    I would have just informed the ATA that I knew of property in the town of Sparta, IL that they should take a look at since the Executive Committee unanimously agreed to relocate the Vandalia, OH offices to Sparta, IL. during their December 2011 meeting.

    This makes one wonder why the ATA would Fire/Eliminate/Remove From offices, persons on the Oversight Committee/ Director Etc. Like honorable men like Paul Shaw, Frank Rively, Jim Thompson, who were given information by ATA Office personnel whom knew of discrepencies of ATA Officials, and some of them resigned rather than face Possible Criminal
    Criminal Charges, and some were released by the ATA. Most of us ATA knowledgable individuals know whom they were.

    The making of a paper trail and having to hide names makes things look suspicious and that would be putting it mildly ... The ATA did not need an Agent from within to make a transaction on the property and pay an inflated price on same unless the intent was to take advantage of the situation knowing full well the ATA was even the least bit interested in that property ... The members have been getting taken advantage of for years and it just keeps getting worse as time goes by ... Property has a market value and the property the ATA purchased for the Home office was grossly inflated by market standards so somebody or a few people made a killing off of the sale to the Association ... The next time you hear anyone of the EC and or BOD beating their chest about how they volunteer and all the money it costs them slap them up side the head with a 2x4 and let them know, you know the truth of the matter ... The ATA will implode once everything comes out and the members find out all there is to know ... The 13+ Millions dollars on hand and or invested must be guarded and protected at all cost for the benefit of the members and the Association ... Take out the trash and no more Fox guarding the hen house if the ATA can survive ... WPT ... (YAC) ...

    I would / could only speculate that the "Oversight Committee" would be the ones asking this question.

    Why the common members are coming up with all of these interesting questions that have gone unanswered, is beyond me.

    Was the oversight committee being overshadowed with the lack of communication also ???

    I do not think the words lack of communication is correct, My choice would be over shadowed by collusion.

    Questions about the incorrect "minutes of the EC meeting of 6-August-2012" started here on Nov 12, 2015 .....

    It would be very hard to believe that EVERYONE in the current "ATA" leadership is still ignorant of this fact ......
