Trapshooting League

I've recently been asked why my club was starting league in March, not later in April. I know a few clubs in my area that shoot league year round. Most of my shooters don't want to shoot when it is snowing, super cold raining, etc. We had had to postpone our start (3 weeks) due to bad weather, not just rain but severe storms. We end usually around Thanksgiving and start back in March. I would never want to willfully put a shooter in jeopardy and also a few of my shooters have higher end guns and don't want to "get them wet". What does everybody else's respective club do? Thanks!

 

My home league is in San Diego. They shoot year round, only cancelling league night if it gets below 40 degrees or above 40% humidity.
