The "New ATA" doesn't need toilets

My rant today....

We needed to move to Sparta many say.. "No more room for motorhomes." 1/4 of the org, , many of which were in power, got more enjoyment from their camping experience than shooting.

So what is with the toilets?

A wealthy motorhomer has his own bathroom, shower etc.

When the IDNR said the best they were going to offer the WSRC was minimal operating standards, the ATA didn't blink.

After booting the blue collar guys to the curb, no one needed toilet seats or clean bathrooms.

There are a few exceptions. There are places the blue collar shooters still lurk. You will find near spotless bathrooms at the Cardinal Center. You will find the crowds growing as the week progresses. Typical, for a facility that still cares at least a little about the blue collar shooter.

I am looking forward to finding a clean seat at the CC. And of course the comradery the Cardinal Center offers.

I seen something different ...... There are much better places to "camp", if that is your thing .....

It was more like being at a Concert in BFE, where you had the nicest place to hang-out between sets ..... so the "Stars of the Show" would hang-out with the never-was/never-will-be people with some money and a big LOFT problem, making them feel important and one of the "in-crowd" .....

Look at it from the people like the ATA poster boy's view ..... You can hang-out and take a dump in someone's Prevost, or lower yourself to a Port-O-Potty in BFE, because Pro Trapshooting doesn't pay well enough to buy your own Prevost .....

 

The portable toilets at Sparta were better than the restrooms at the storefronts this year and last year....at least you had a little ventilation. The condition of the road in front of the event center is inexcusable.
