Is your trapgun fitting you correctly? Sight picture that you shoot is correct! Is point of Impact correct, I shoot saqme POI for singles and Handicap and Doubles is a flatter shooting POI, that is my Preference, No 2 shooters shoot alike as far as Trapgun set up, because we all have different Physiques

You should have a 4-way adjustable comb, you will add weight or lose weight through life, so be prepared..

LOP is very critical, too long you shoot behind targets, it makes you slower, Too short makes you Whippy, snap shooting, lack of precision.

Recoil Pads to me should have some curvature to fit the shoulder due to my build, some will need flat pads.

    Is your recoil pad Adjustable

Comb Offset is it corresct for being a RH or LH Shooter? This is an intricate adjustment as well as sight picture precision.

When shooting targets are you smashing them on EVERY SHOT? If not you need to make corrections in your POI.

When I change Trapguns the LOP is changed to 14-14 1/8th inches w/Zero Pitch. Helps control Recoil from face/cheek

Winter shooting because of the shooting coat thickness requires a thinner Recoil pad or ADJUSTABLE LOP
