Pre-owned Smith and Wesson Model 41, barely used, comes with three (10) round mags and case. It has a 5.5" barrel with a Vortex Viper red-dot on top. Very nice pistol (Clean and No Rust) that needs a new home. $1200 to your FFL.
Those are the stock grips that come on the new 41's and I can not find any literature that states the type of wood...sorry.
After thinking the grips were laminated, I did a little searching around and found on the S & W forums that they did in fact use laminated grips on the new model. I also found this on a Gun Review site, "The grips are laminated hardwood with a prominent thumbrest on both sides and a checkered panel below each. The magazine release is a pushbutton located just aft of the junction where the trigger guard meets the frame on the left side".
The slide comes pre drilled for a base to mount either a red dot or scope. Look at the pic of the top and you can see two other screw heads that can be removed for mounting purposes. Thanks-Randal
