The first time I ever heard Rush was setting in Leo's van at the Mint gun club in 88 or 89. He was on a California radio station and Leo had picked him up the week before I got out west and tole me I had to listen to this guy. Now they are both gone.
I can remember where I was when I first heard him. I was at work and it was lunch hour - going through the radio dial looking for Paul Harvey, who did a 10 - 15 minute radio bit M - F. Found Rush instead - Wow, somebody on the radio who thinks the way I do. That was probably in the late 80s. From then on my radio was set to Rush - and it stayed that way. He was the only conservative voice we had after Regan left office.
