Country music singer Roy Clark passed away.
I remember Roy shooting trap at the old Prince George's gun club in Lanham MD. He would ride his motorcycle with his gun in a scabbard.
    RIP

I saw Roy Clark at the "Frontier" in Las Vegas in June 1977. I was traveling cross country with some friends and we were in Vegas and decided to take in a show. We ended up with tickets to Roy Clark's show, I was disappointed because I played the guitar then and was a rock n roller - I wasn't interested in seeing some country hay seed. Somehow they sat us up front next to the stage. Wow, that man could play!! He played the guitar and banjo for a couple of hours and he could do anything, and I mean anything with those instruments. Best show I ever been to, and man was that guy talented. Rest in peace Roy - you deserve it. I'll always remember that show.
