Can you post a picture of the long spring that fits inside the magazine tube. Is this the way the gun was assembled because the piston is installed backwards. Alan
Decided not to sell this gun as a 870 competition gas gun, getting to be too much trouble, now just selling as an single shot 870 with deluxe wood. I never bought the gun to shoot, bought it as a novelty gun because there was less than 600 made. JoeScout
What are you asking for it now? No idea what other parts are missing. They are hard to get parts for. Alan
Hi Alan., the few times I shot this gun I thought it worked just fine, I noticed a big reduction in the felt recoil and so did a few other shooters that shot it but I guess it was all psychological which served the same purpose, it seemed to have less recoil ! So it doesn't seem to matter if the gas piston was backwards or not it then might work like old Browning Recoilless shotgun ( had one of those too ) when you fired it the piston went forward. I think the weight of both gun had the most effect on taming the recoil. Since I never saw another one of these shotguns and couldn't find a schematic or a manual I was not aware that piston assembly was backwards. In an earlier post someone. (See a couple pages back) told me the forward collar was supposed to be in front of the barrel ring so I moved that, hard to see in the picture but its there. Alan what other part is missing ? There is supposed to be a long spring assembly inside the magazine tube. I asked about it earlier but you never replied so I don't know if it is there. With out the spring, it won't work correctly. Alan
Remshooter/Alan: It's a bargin @ $750+.... so you can shoot and have your brain remain intact from the soft recoil..... I got one New in box ----shot 24-5 each time I shot with it (4-5 times after purchase)..... It will be great when I get old.
