Re: Skip Klinger... clearing the air

As many of you know, the PSSA election at the State Shoot saw a change in the membership and direction of PSSA's Executive Committee. Skip Klinger was under yearly contract as PSSA Executive Director, and Tournament Director to conduct our 5 annual shoots and put into motion the many facets of the proposed North East Shooting Complex. Much was done toward the fruition of that project with the obtaining of permits, planning and raising the necessary funding and grants to see the beginning of the North East Shooting Complex to completion this calendar year. The election changed all that, and Skip’s contract, which expires on July 18, 2020, will not renewed by the newly elected Executive Committee. Therefore, Skip Klinger no longer works for the PSSA after July 18, 2020.

Skip put in a lot of time at the club. I am glad to see Mike posting. I would like to hear more about the new direction. What are the goals of the new PA guard? What vision does the new delegate have?

 

Will the new delegate go with the secret votes? Or will he ask for roll call votes.

 

Well, at least we know one thing. Our retired TD, Chuck Fritzges, was recruited to fill Skip's shoes for the foreseeable future. Chuck is a fine individual and deserves the best. Let's wish him luck!
