I've owned both. 2 Kx5s and 4 or 5 CG unsingles and over/under Trap guns. I would say the Geurini is the best option for me. They have great adjustability, shoot 50/50 or 120 percent high (some models only) , 90 to 100 percent on others. CG has great customer service and pit stop program. Their gunsmiths are great people and will speak with you. I personally think they have the best choke tubes and barrels on the market. I liked the Kx5 but CG is a better gun, my opinion only, others may and will differ.
I too have owned both and shot them well, The CG will shoot higher than the KX-5, the Un-single that is and it won out on the POI for me. I agree the CG has the very best choke tubes, they are longer and Hyperbolic, I used the X-tra full on everything, They threw the best patterns for me, I believe they are both about the same price. At least very close. I would choose the CG. You can believe this or not, the 32" in. un-single will shoot higher than the 34"in. CG. I owned both. GB...................................DLS
KX-5 Hands Down. Much Fewer Moving Parts And About As Bullet Proof As A Trap Gun Can Be. Unless You Need A Gun That Shoots Higher Than 90% The Krieghoff Is Going to Be More Reliable In The Long Run.
