POLL - How long should it take for the Amateur Trapshooting Association (ATA) to publish minutes?

Is it taking too long to get minutes published from ATA meetings? Is there a transparency problem?

The minutes are a little more than the recording of the meeting. Very easy. Same format every time.

 

Feb 2025 was the last published minutes. As of this date 9 months ago. If the ATA wanted you to know.....

 

Minutes get posted when they’re officially accepted at the next meeting. They’re usually posted fairly quickly at that point. It’s a simple process issue that could and should be corrected fairly simply but what do I know.

The minutes could and should be accepted sooner don't you think? 9 months seems long to me.

 

I’ll emphasize the “should” from my post. I believe the minutes are already sent to the EC ahead of time for review. It’s nearly 2026 and waiting for a group of maybe 10 people to have an official meeting to “approve” those same minutes is silly to me. By then it should already be a done deal, so why wait.
