Phil Ross gone

    I heard that Phil Ross has died. I don't have any details. Back in the day when ever Leo and I were out west, LV, Reno, Phoenix, we would shoot with Phil and Bobby Gilbertson and play hearts between events. Another of my trap shooting friends gone. Brad

    I am sorry to hear that Phil Ross has passed, that's too many in such of a short time, we are losing some of the finest trapshooters and gentlemen

    I haven't seen or talked to Phil for a longtime, but I look at a picture that I have on my workshop wall quite often of Phil, Gene Clawson, Joe Powell, and myself that was taken during the 1990 Grand. We all shot the Grand as juniors during the 1950's. Glen Everts was also to be in the picture, but he wasn't available when the picture was taken. Phil is gone,but I still have memories of him and many other trapshooting friends.
