Very nice tight MX2000 10 combo. Numbers matching including the selectable trigger. On my bore mike .740 bore on single with .035 restriction. .738 bores on the O/U and .020 under barrel of O/U and .033 over barrel of O/U. No porting. Beautiful barrel work and throws great patterns. Single barrel has had the under sides of both front and back adjusters fixed with metal inserts to eliminate the failure problem. O/U barrel adjusters are solid. Receiver and barrels retain 98% bluing and show very nicely. Stock is fairly straight with just slight right hand cast and right hand palm swell. Stock is not original but in very nice condition. Perazzi adjustable stock with RAD recoil device. LOP from 15" up to 16.25. Nice case and original parts kit, tools and stock bushings. A shooters gun for sure that handles great and light recoil. No galling and nice receiver face. New top lever spring and locking bolt. Closes and locks like a new gun ready for many years of service. PM me with any questions. $9200 delivered CONUS.
Mel- Are both barrels tuned by Tommy? Beautiful gun. Assume pull/pull trigger and ships in a Perazzi case?
MX10s typically have a small piece of metal underneath the rib adjuster that is prone to breaking. It's a bad design but also usually the users fault for trying to adjust the rib incorrectly that results in unneeded stress on the rib. Here is a picture of a 34" MX10 top single and 34" MX10 o/u. Both pieces are intact. I've owner them without that small sliver of metal intact and they shoot fine.
All three barrels tuned by Wilkinson. Rob 111: Ribs tend to break at the adjustment point front and rear. Can be shot even if broken. However, a repair makes the rib tighter and more substantial. If a steel replacement piece is tongue and grooved in it solves the issue. The proper fix has been applied to this guns single barrel. Should never be an issue again.
