Parker top lever with 30" barrels, twist steel barrels 2-1/2" chambers choked M/M, LOP 14 .25" DAC 2.5" completely restored, mechanically like new, case colored iron. $1000.00 plus $40.00 shipping. Joe, in Reno, NV.
Barrels are very nice inside, new firing pins, lockup very tight. #2 frame, water table #783xx. Another picture, close up of receiver to breech. This gun was well used in its day and was brought to a classic shooter, no other claims made. I shot this gun with low pressure short shell loads I made up. I have some Parker barrels and a couple of reconditioned 12 gauge frames for sale, serious buyers only please. Tks, Joe
Parker was very good when it came to building a gun to fit their customers requests. So there was not a gun complete standard model. The later basic model had many variables but this did not distract from its value, just a variance in preferences. On my way to the club to my model 21, great fun ! Joe
I had a discussion with a AT member about classic shooters this an example of exactly what I was talking about a 1890s Parker that would have never been a collectors darling because it showed the used it was designed for hunting/shooting used to the point were the wood was warn below the metal so I had it restored to keep it from farther deterioration thus preserved as a piece of shooting history. Can it be shot of course is it a shooter yes in its own class. Just my thoughts. Tks, Joe
Just so everyone knows. This man is as good a man as they come. Honest, tremendous American. War hero. Modest as well. Great shot. He is on the short side and ornery because he is part Sicilian. Do not hold that against him. This Parker is a great addition to someone's shooting collection.
Jim, no matter how many nice things you say about me it still won't make me like ya! Jim, I think what I did wrong with my beautiful Parker hammer gun is that I priced it too low and people thought that there was something wrong with it ? So I'm raising the price of this great American classic to $1250.00 plus $50.00 to ship. Joescout
