looking for parts i was told for a Ithaca victory ,it closes and can make it fire but some thing is missing in the receiver ,to pull on the sear ,can any one out there help me ,such a very nice old gun...thank you
Looks like a 4E, Flues Model, sn under 400,000. Remove the barrel, remove the screws from the trigger guard, unscrew the trigger guard. Remove the four screws you will see. Lift the trigger plate. (there will be a small spring that may or may not be loose). Remove the screw that is under the opening lever and then you can remove the stock. The bottom pin that's through the receiver goes through the hammer. There will be pressure on the hammer from the hammer spring. The upper pin through the receiver keeps the firing pin in place. Don't be intimidated with the process.
No problem I know you were trying to help but if we let one go thru, then we take a chance of a bogus one slipping in. We all get enough calls about car warranties. Posting the name on was great. They can google it and get all the info. Or, send them a PM and they can get it from you that way. Thanks again for trying to help a fellow member.
