Has choke tubes marked 9/10ths----------8/10ths and so on, no designation for an Improved Modified. Anyone know where I can find out a IM dimension in 10ths GB......................DLS
From their web site : 9/10 - Extreme choke 7/10 - long choke 5/10 - Medium choke 2/10 - short choke CYL - skeet choke I am guessing but the only thing that makes sense is (extreme) tightest, 7/10 for long shots, 5/10 for medium shots, 2/10 for short shots, and CYL for skeet shots ... No need to thank me .. WPT ... (YAC) ...
That is the one I installed when I first got it, just switched to the 7/10 will know how it works Thursday Night GB...................................DLS
So, how did it work for you Doc ..? Did you measure the amount of restriction with each one of the chokes in, be interesting to see some numbers ... The way they (Fabarms) post it is really generic to say the least , but better than not at all, I guess ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
WPT I acquired a Stan Baker Analog 18"inch Dial bore Mic. I zero'd it using the .700 calibrating sleeve. The Bbl mic'd .733 at 18 inches into the Bbl from muzzle and it tapered to .742 at the entry to choke tube. the 9/10s tube was .690 which was Extra Full choke, the 7/10s tube measured .700 which .033 full choke. The 5/10s tube mic'd .705 which is I believe a tight Improved Modified which was .028 All tubes are over 3.5 inches long., and every tube has a relief bored in them.
