MX8 (MX3 Special) with Wenig Wood for Sale

It is time to sell one of the most beautiful Perazzi’s I’ve owned.

This is an 35” MX8 barrel on an MX3 Special receiver and iron (R/I numbers match). The barrel is dated coded BU – for 2004, all original with an 18.7 bore and fixed full choke, .032. Weight is 1.65 kg. Trigger is a Guilliani pull with a setback trigger blade. It is very crisp!

The stock is a Wenig, setup for a right handed shooter with a nice palm swell, about ¼” right hand offset and about ½” toe out. It is beautiful wood and has been glass bedded to the receiver. No cracks.

I purchased this barrel from Giacomo’s and waited till I found the right receiver to build this gun. The bluing on the R/I is in near-perfect shape, there is one small ½” scratch on the bottom of the barrel, so the metal is in 95 – 98% condition.

The Perazzi smithy from Italy fitted the barrel at the Grand to the R/I and did a fabulous job. It closes with a clunk – his words were “it is perfecto”. Many more pictures available.
