Blue sky but windy on Thursday. I struggled with those high targets due to a North wind but my shooting buddy who actually used to live next to me took the 27 yard award with a 95. 96 was high. Way to go Ohio!!
This is my first time here and like the way they have some days with two one hundred handicap events and one 50 non registered event. Going to shoot the 200 singles today, need to get used to shooting with second finger since it's still a little strange shooting this way. The club put on a free dinner yesterday along with free beer. I opted for the free lemonade. Gave up all alcohol years ago.
My buddy Dave who shot the highest score of all 27 yard shooters in a stiff breeze in Thur's caps only managed in the 80's the rest of the week. Myself, well thank goodness for the Lewis class. 99 was high on Sun. Keith Ditto on Sunday's caps was down 3 going to his last 50. But rose to the occasion by running the last 50. Packing camper this morning and heading south to Texas to see some friends and do some shooting there. Who knows after that?
