That's Bubba leaning against the van. He just brought Merlo down to the bus for his trip home. I guess Merlo's meeting with Gov. Rauner went well but no chauffeured ride home just a meal at Cracker Barrel and a ticket on Greyhound. Seems with the current financial situation the Gov almost balked at giving Merlo a bus ticket but they're buds now so what the heck is a $24 ticket among friends. Can't wait to hear what they talked about.
The Governor and Merlo had a lot to catch up on, thats for sure ... I wonder if the Village People are still on tap as the entertainment , as I was told by some shooters ... I didn't know the Village People were still performing, unless they mean't the people from Sparta (dang, never crossed my mind) until just now ... I sure like the new look on them Grey Dogs (Greyhounds) though, bout time they updated ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
Kool aid and chips all around ... This is not good for those who are planning on attending ... The ATA will find away ... (Donations) Make checks payable to : ATA distress fund ... WPT ... (YAC) ... http://www.illinois.gov/gov/budget/...017 Budget Book/FY2017OperatingBudgetBook.pdf The proposed funding for the IDNR starts on page 288 thru 295. You'll see that the Governor has proposed ZERO dollars for the WSRC (pg. 288) You'll see Zero dollars proposed for the WSRC again on page 292. And if I'm reading it correctly, on page 295 the Governor appears to be saying that he's cutting the staff to just one person. Enjoy
A lot of work to do there by only one person. Maybe they can get a bus load of brothers from the south side to work for food stamps.
Perhaps I'm misinterpreting the document, but it appears to me that the Governor is requesting 2 million dollars for the WSRC in 2017. The imprest fund (petty cash) appears to be zeroed out for 2017. It does appear that the Governor is requesting only 1 person (headcount) for 2017 for the WSRC, although that may be a management headcount not a union worker headcount. After looking at this document I have no idea how it's possible to prioritize all the different expenses that a State has!
