Getting replacement parts is a big concern. Otherwise it is a fine Trap Gun. What is his asking price delivered ?
that is the nicest one I have ever seen. I will give you 300 for a pull trigger as I need one. You can't get parts except for some dude name Pylinski or something like that. He lives in Pennsylvania or Ohio and thinks all his stuff is gold plated. If you don't want the gun let me know as I need a trigger and would give the guy ( or you) 300 for an extra pull trigger.
TRy this. Model 72 AAT Combination supplied with 1 single adj. barrel and 32 in. O/U barrels. Show Historic Prices Grading 100% 98% 95% 90% 80% 70% 60% $2,450 $2,100 $1,850 $1,600 $1,450 $1,250 $995 Last MSR was $2,850.
vdt, First of all that Rottweil is not a standard grade. With the engraved receiver it had to be a special order or upgrade from standard. Many combo were shipped with two triggers, one set to fire upper barrel first and the other to fire lower barrel first. These triggers had a small removal clip install on one side of the selector button that's easy to remove. As been stated parts are a problem and also as stated, spare trigger groups in excellent condition should be worth $300-400. A trap shooter in Western Tennessee has been looking for a release trigger for some time. Now the bad news; Some of the barrels were manufactured with three holes next to the chambers (see attached picture) take a very careful look at the barrels, if you can see even one hole, the other holes are there, maybe covered with carbon or dirt. These barrels are dangerous and should not be fired. If the barrels don't have any holes, then this combo is a somewhat rare set and instead of the normal $1400-1700 you would expect to pay for combo in good condition, I would think $2500-2800 would not be out of line. If the barrels have holes they are junk but the rest of the gun should be worth $1500 to a Rottweil owner
Rottweil Laurence Pylinski 804-357-2393 hes sometimes in T&F as well give him a shout for all info on exactly what gun you have
