Left over reloading supplies ???

I've been doing some remodeling. That required cleaning-up and clean-out my basement. That just reminded me of all the reloading components odds-and-ends ends I have. Some of the wads are now 3rd generation hand-me-downs.

I have about 3000 primers, thousands of wads in various colors and gauges, and a couple of pounds each of four different powders. I also have a trash can full on once-fired Remington Premier hulls, prolly a thousand once-fired STS, and thousand of AAcfs, Premiers, and STS that would make for great fire-and-forget reloads.

What to do with this clutter?

A friend suggested I just load all that stuff up since loaded ammo on the shelves makes for a lot less clutter than a hodge-podge of components. Okay, that makes sense, but I need to buy a bit more powder and and several bags of shot to use all this. And 3000 reloads (cause I have 3000 primers) won't make a dent on the once-fired hulls. And life no longer places me near the regional reloading supply dealers, at least not before next fall or winter.

Another complication is that I laid in a nice supply of new ammo during the gunpowder drought. Much of it is still on the shelf. I just don't shoot as much in retirement as I expected. I still shoot often, but I am satisfied with shooting in smaller doses. But ammo on the shelf does not make for much clutter.

 

Give-a-way? Sell off and donate the money to the youth program? Shoot more? Just live with it?
