No live bird field. Only thing up on the hill is the Beretta building, 5 skeet practice fields, (fields 41, 42, 43, 44, and 45), and the new fire station just before the Beretta building.

do you remember that old green stadium?
i used google maps to answer my question.
google maps shows its still there, only its been remodeled. the old field is there.
you have to pass it to get to the 5 fields up on the hill.
i dont know how to do screen shots or id post it.

So, the live bird field you are referring to is the Beretta building. Never knew it was originally a live bird stadium.

yes. look at the area in front of the bldg. that paved (tar) area was the field. it had a circle at one time. you can see the stations still in a line nearest the bldg.
i was hoping to see a pic of the front of that bldg currently to see if the bleechers were still there. it was similar to a horse racing stadium with booths sectioned off.

    found it!
this........use to be the live bird stadium folks. long before any of the other stuff even existed. this was where the idea of nssa started.....with a bunch of rich guys betting on birds, miles away from humans. and waaay before urban sprawl moved to the property lines with planned mega neighborhood housing plots.

Yes, that building is now called the Beretta Building. The front as I remember is now closed off with glass and not open air.

Right behind the Beretta building towards the white fence is the new fire station. Not shown in your pic. It provides fire protection for the NSSA/NSCA grounds plus the surrounding housing area. It's a great addition on the World Shooting Complex.
