Mike with Ljutic said they are swamped Building new Guns and are in the design Phase of a new rib. And designing a New Ljutic. The cost of cutting down my Picketts from Std at the rear to down as close as possible at the front of the Bbl has doubled, the time frame is 1 1/2 months to complete the job. GB..................................DLS
So what's the problem? They're busy When you do that the gun will only shoot 80% if that, if you are speaking about a flat rib Ljutic
Ljutic329: Mine is a mid rib, in the past It takes it to 15 to 18"in. Higher, on the ones I have had done previously, I am seriously thinking of doing it myself. I have all the silver soldering Equip. GB................................DLS
After Joe and Jimmy died, things slowed down, then the 3rd set of owners. A ljutic Trapgun is a simple Gun to build, The One Touch Ribs are being Sub-Letted. Mike quoted over $2,000 for the One Touch rib Installation. Back up is 1 1/2 months on rib mods. GB..............................DLS
I have been calling DeVault Industries and the phone is constantly ringing Busy for 5 days now. Is Dennis's wife running the show now? GB...............................DLS
Gary, I don't think doing it yourself is a good idea. You could, just for the summer, build it up with Moleskin (not Molefoam) and send it in next fall when you won't be shooting as much. I'm glad to hear they are busy. N1H1
DeVault Industries has shutdown--Tracy is doing stock work on his own--Fuzzy is the source for Machone and Infinity parts/trigger work--got an an adjustable rib made for a 870 pump gun--last rib done by Dennis, just before he died
What happened to the new GM that took over after DeVault died, though he had it all under control ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
The store is now a paint store--Tracy was running the show, everyone bailed after that--there is a gentleman, whom I will not mention is working on bring out the DeVault designed o/u-combo- hope he succeeds and gets the gun produced in my lifetime--the $75K I loaned Dennis towards building the gun, is gonzo--if Dennis was still alive things would have been different Word of wise any mom & pop business should have a life insurance policy to insure the business survives
Seen this happen numerous times. Once the key person exits, things often fall apart. Hope things come together in the future. Regards.....Gerald
