Hey Merlo Why are Scores low at the Cardinal Buckeye Shoot?

I've been looking at the handicap scores at the Cardinal Center Buckeye shoot this week and they seem low to me, just like the good old days. I've also been looking at the payouts, one 25 paid $280 in one of the caps. 95's and 96's winning events. 93's getting punches, what gives?

I don't know what's the reason? Did the CC put in the 30 yard line and not tell us, are they throwing 3 whole targets, or did they speed up the targets like the ATA ruled and the scores went down just like I said on here many many times? SPEED KILLS. What about it Merlo, do you know.

My opinion is I'd bet shooting puff balls for 20 years and then shooting a stonger target with a little wind is reminding more than a few in the occupy the 27 yard line crowd what handicap is supposed to be.

    Brad....

I am not trying to scoop Merlo but I had a talk with Teresa (below). She manages the west end of the CC line. I mentioned the low scores. I asked her if they had their thumb on the scale yesterday.

She laughed and said, “We wouldn’t do that.” She said it was the wind. But I think I saw a wink.

Saturdays singles were tough I think 198 won them it was windy and cold, It seemed to me the targets were soft and the wind really affected them.
