I built my grandsons a play house and would like to drywall the inside, will regular joint compound hold up or is there something special I should use? I live in Ohio and it will get really cold in the winter and hot in the summer. Thanks in advance for your help.
I'm not a carpenter , but I wonder if that concrete board they use in showers would work ? It's heavy and not easy to work with but it retards moisture. Regards....Gerald
In unheated areas like a garage or a outdoor playhouse the drywall will crack at the joint lines due to expansion and contraction and the drywall will deteriorate at a quicker rate. I would use inexpensive plywood to line the interior with if it was me.
