I need to clear this is a complete stock set butt and fore end. 14 1/2 LOP with adjustable comb as shown, like new condition, great English walnut dark in color, new American style left hand. the blanks where bought from Wenig years ago.
What type of finish is on the wood? Has it been sprayed with something? There looks like it has bring shiny spots asif has had a coat sprayed over the original finish. Is the finish original? It may be just the light reflection. Thanks.
I made this set 6 years ago, I use gloss spar urethane and I sprayed the finish and buffed. Checkering was done after finish was applied @22LPI by T I’m Smith-Lyon @classic checkering.com. The shiny sport you see is the lighting in my shop. I hope I have answered your questions.
Heath, sent you a PM. The grip size is for large hands but I made the wrist smaller, and with left hand palm swell.
You south paws are missing out on a hell of a deal. I’ve owned a couple stock sets made by Ronnie and they are fit/finished meticulously. Good shooting to all, Rey
