For Sale: 1968 Perazzi MX 8 - Type 2 O/U Shotgun, SPF

For sale is a numbers matching Perazzi MX8 Type 2, 12 gauge shotgun, Serial # 33377. The barrels are 29 1/2 inches in length and have a raised 4mm stepped, parallel rib with a single orange front blade. The barrel date code is XXIV, which indicates a 1968 production and the barrel weight is 1.570 Kg. The previous owner had the barrels threaded for Briley S1 Thin Wall Chokes and 8 chokes are included with the shotgun. The right handed Monte Carlo stock has a 14 1/4 inch LOP and is neutral cast without a palm swell.

The shotgun is in very good mechanical condition but does have some cosmetic issues. There is metal pitting along the the right side of both over and under barrels, some metal pitting on the under side of the under barrel near the muzzle and pitting on the forearm iron latch and little on the right side of forearm iron.
