Federal's "NEW" Value Packs

Anyone seen these on the shelves at the local Wally-World???
Who's running them?
I've ran about 500 or so... without issue and must say I feel confident with them, very consistent and the 8's will smoke a handicap bird with no problem. I grabbed the wrong box in a hurry last night and to be honest, I like them more than SuperSports. It's not a Nitro but I like them. For just over $5/box I don't see how you can go wrong.
Looks like a Cheddite primer which should help with a few FTF's since the surface area is greater.
One piece wad
Cleaner powder (just a tad) and doesn't feel like a typical 3 dram.
Claimed 1200 fps but I don't have a chrony.

 

Been shooting the one's on the right for the longest. At $21.74 you can't beat the price, and they shoot good to. Will try the new one's when my Wal-Mart gets them in. Lately they haven't been able to keep them in stock.

 

I hear that! Just so happens I work directly across from the place. I watch it like a hawk! The workers know me by name I think! I had bought 2K rounds of 7 1/2's...No 8's until recently. I stopped in after work and saw a skid of federal boxes.
MUWAHAHAHAHAHAHA.....
Stopped in the next morning at about 6am and loaded up every pack of 8's they had except for two that appeared to have gotten wet at some point.

 

I shot 100 of the 1 1/8 #8 this weekend. All went bang the first time.
Had a hard time hitting anything, 20 degrees, 16mph breeze, and blowing snow.
When it warms up again I'll try them again, I can't see any difference from their Top Guns.

 

I'm with ya...sucks shooting in wind and cold. My scores dropped Friday night, cold, rain and wind...I shot one practice and totally gave up Saturday night, cold and wind in the face. Not my idea of fun!
I think you'll like the shells.
