I just purchased 14 1/2 flats of top guns from sportsmens warehouse for $4.60 a box, and that included tax. I seen on the net that they had them on line for $4.79 a box. I called the local store and ask if they would honor the on line price. The manager said yes. So I told him I would take them all. So he sweetened the deaL. Roger C.
Sounds fantastic. At that quantity you probably got free shipping. If I may ask how long will 14 1/2 flats last you?
The problem with this great price from Sportsman's Warehouse is they won't ship these shells to everyone. Some folks have to pick them up at a retail outlet. I found out when I ordered online that I had to drive 350 miles to pick them up; they would not ship them to me. And I'm not the only one this has happened to. TS.com has others who report the same thing. Also, it seems that sale ended yesterday, and no they wouldn't give a rain check or back order these shells....I found THAT out, too, yesterday when I called them.
Mudpack, I called the local store and talked to the dept. manager. I ask him if he would honor the on line price, he said he would so I took all he had on hand. He also loaded them in the trunk for me. very helpful man. Roger C.
You are fortunate, Roger, that you live close enough to a SW retail store to take advantage of their sale. I don't.
Roger, I called the local Wal Mart to see if they would "Price Match" and they said they would if you show them the receipt to verify what you paid ... WPT ... (YAC) ...
The one on Lake Pleasant has full shelves and a good assortment ... Best prices as of late also ... WPT ... (YAC) ..
