Duck Hunting Down South Question.

Evil spirits stole main body!! Question is about duck hunting in alligator country. Louisiana bayou guide told me that alliagators hibernate during colder weather and dogs are safe but not so in Florida where its warmer. ???

Any puddle of water in Florida can have gators and you’ll never even see them. Dogs are filet mignon to them. Unfortunately have had a couple buddies lose dogs and it not only ruins your day, it really breaks your heart. My duck hunting partner moved out of state so now I hunt em down in a Thai restaurant near the house. Good shooting, Rey
