How much difference is there between the fig 8 wad and the rxp wad. looking for a load with red dot powder and a win primer in the 1200+- range. Several in the books but not look like there is much difference in the ballistics of the 2. Am looking at Gun Club hulls which seem to take the same components as nitros and sst hulls. Anybody got a favorite recipe for the GC hulls with either red dot or unique? Thanks

I suspect by now you have all the information you need but I have found little or no difference..... My RD powder is OLD andin the cardboard 15lb containers and I use 17.8 grains.
Recently I have been using the RXP and the SP12 in the Winchester AA and the Nitro27 hull with Vectan AS. The Rem wads although much more expensive do seem to fill a lot of applications..... I ended up with about 15 bags at no cost so my "playing" is not costing much....... Larry

Thanx, basically the same thing i found. Will go with the fig 8 wad as the last thing my rifle TM1 needs is a tighter pattern.
