i got a europa m62 in for a annual last night. the krieghoff gun co sold parts in the 60's to europa to be assembled in the us as m 62's. about 100 of the europas were produced.

this gun was owned by paul tibbets who was the pilot of the enola gay in 1945.

the current owner of the gun told me mr. tibbets was an active skeet shooter and shot often with general george patton mainly at military bases in the eastern us.

Krieghoff did not produce the Model 62 nor does their name appear anywhere on it ?
