Common Thread. All Americans

Small town Iowa. A couple walking with small children, all wearing American Flag shirts. I ask out loud who owns the car with the jump wings on it and a bearded. thin, maybe 30 year old says “I do”

When asked who was in the Airborne the wife says “we both were”

I notice the Grandmother has an 82nd Airborne t shirt on

Then I notice a tattoo on the wife’s right wrist. A set of jump wings . I mention that and she looks down and sheepishly says “yea my girlfriend and I decided to get those one night”. I did not ask if alcohol was involved

Nice family Rural Americans. Connected to airborne forces and veterans everywhere. We intend to enforce the rule of law here No matter what is going on elsewhere
